We are pleased to extend an invitation for you and your organization to participate in the Summit on Stigma Reduction Toward Substance Use. The event will take place in person on September 26, 2024 at Penn State Harrisburg.
The Summit on Substance Use Stigma Reduction is an interdisciplinary event that brings together practitioners and scholars from a range of fields (e.g., public health, government and public policy, psychology, criminal justice) to consider research, policy, and practice around the issue of stigma reduction in the field. This event is supported by generous contributions from the Penn State Consortium on Substance Use and Addiction and The Douglas W. Pollock Center for Addiction Outreach and Research.
The full-day event will be in person and open to all Penn State students/staff/faculty, community members, and anyone who is interested in reducing stigma towards substance use disorders. Lunch will be provided for all in-person participants. More information, including a link to register, will be announced at a later date.
